Please read the following terms and conditions and the information contained in this voucher. The Sugar Reef Travel Club is not a tour operator or travel agent and does not itself organise, sell or supply holidays to the public. We act as your agent for the purposes of obtaining for you the accommodation and, for the Option 1 and Option 4, transport arrangements specified in the Holiday Request Form subject to availability and the provisions of your Sugar Reef Travel Club holiday voucher and holiday pack. Please be aware that The Sugar Reef Travel Club is not ATOL bonded. However, flights will be booked via either a low cost carrier or a bonded agent/tour operator.
In accordance with the Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992 all passengers booking with The Sugar Reef Travel Club are fully protected against the loss of all monies paid to us for the holiday or trip (and repatriated if required) due to our insolvency, by way of an Insurance Policy with IGI Insurance Company Limited, Market Square House, St James's Street, Nottingham, NG1 6FG. The cover excludes money paid for flights which must be protected separately. In the event of a claim you should contact the administrators of the scheme. The holiday offer is open to home owning couples, married (or cohabiting for 2 years), in gainful employment and whose joint income exceeds £25,000 per annum or those in receipt of a private pension which exceeds £25,000 and between the ages of 25 and 70 at the time of application and travel (proof may be required). The Sugar Reef Travel Club reserved the right to refuse any application in the event that the applicants are not qualified. If in between the acceptance of your application and the expiry of your holiday voucher circumstances change and you are no longer qualified, please inform us in writing.
Recipients may invite their guests as applicable on validation of their own application. All participants (and guest where applicable) are governed by these terms and conditions.
This voucher may only be used by the recipient and may only be used once. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Two of the applicants must be qualified as above and redeeming as a couple and you must nominate ALL applicants’ names at the time of application. All applicants must travel together on the same date.
If you wish to change the names of additional applicants prior to your holiday offer, this may be possible at the discretion of The Sugar Reef Travel Club and may incur a charge of £49 per person.
Should you need to change the names of additional travellers after flights/ coach /eurostar and or ferry have been confirmed by the tour operator, cancellation and/or name change charges may be payable as per the terms and conditions of the tour operator concerned.
An Air Passenger Duty Tax/Security/Baggage Handling charge will be payable on confirmation of your holiday offer of £20 per person for European destinations or £40 for Worldwide destinations. A proportion of this charge is a government tax and cannot be waived under any circumstances (this is only applicable to the Option 1 and Option 4 Guaranteed Dates). Applicants must choose four different weeks that are a minimum of eight weeks apart for Option 1 and 6 different dates that are a minimum of 4 weeks apart for option 4. The first chosen date must be at least 6 months from the date of application on Option 1 and at least 3 months from the date of application on Option 4. Only one choice may be selected in peak season. Any incorrect date selection forms received by the Sugar Reef Travel Club will be returned and the
applicant will be asked to select alternative choices. Confirmation of registered choices will be sent to the applicant in writing.
Holiday accommodation is provided as per family size needs, for up to seven nights, subject to availability. All self-contained accommodation and facilities are of a high standard and recipients may avail to these as normal paying guests as per hotel/resort management’s terms and conditions. All costs and expenses not covered by The Sugar Reef Travel Club are the recipients’ responsibility.
At the courtesy of the resort management, recipient families will be required to take a hospitality tour which will explain the various facilities and services the resort offers. Non-attendance of the hospitality tour may result in the full cost of the accommodation being charge up to a maximum of £500. The resort on behalf of the resort will make this charge. There is no obligation to buy or enter into any contract. Some
resorts/hotels may ask for a security deposit upon arrival.
If this is a requirement of the resort/hotel you are booked at, you will be made aware of the requirement prior to confirmation of your reservation.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and well to take part in this offer. If, in the event that you or your travelling companions are unable to travel due to pre-existing medical conditions, no refund of administration fees or deposits paid will be given.
The Sugar Reef Travel Club has and will persevere to give optimum service by selecting high quality hotels, resorts and suppliers for their standards and credibility. The Sugar Reef Travel Club reserves the right to substitute these for accommodation of equal or higher standard.
Administration fees are non refundable, except if The Sugar Reef Travel Club decline an application, in which instance administration fees will be fully refunded. In the event that additional named travellers are unable to travel upon notification of departure date and destination, administration fees paid to The Sugar Reef Travel Club are non refundable.
This offer is not for retail sale to the end user, may not be used or gifted in conjunction with other itineraries or offers or bartered or given in exchange. This offer may not be advertised for sale in any way on the Internet without the written permission of The Sugar Reef Travel Club. All parties involved in the distribution and handling of The Sugar Reef Travel Club vouchers are not allowed to participate in the programme. Please do not rely on promises or claims written or verbal made by any person or company other that The Sugar Reef Travel Club. This contract and any disputes of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in connection with this contract and in respect of any cause of action howsoever arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
The Sugar Reef Travel Club does not accept any liability for any damages, loss, delays or dissatisfaction caused by occurrences beyond its control, including but not limited to act of God, nature, sickness, local customs, law and politics, willful or negligent acts and/or omissions of any person or companies who are not employees of The Sugar Reef Travel Club. In any event The Sugar Reef Travel Club’s liability will in no circumstances exceed the total amount paid by way of administration fees.
For the Option 1 and Option 4 Guaranteed Dates offer, you accept that you will be given one of your choice of dates and accept that no match of destination and departure airport or form of travel is promised. The holiday is offered once only and is non negotiable. Delay in delivery of notification caused by postal services and/or delay in receipt caused by absence from home and/or non-acceptance of the holiday for any reason; and/or non-fulfilment of the acceptance procedure, will absolve The Sugar Reef Travel Club of further responsibility in fulfiling the holiday offer. However, we will endeavour to invite you to take up another option.
Necessary health precautions, passport, visa and entry requirements for the country or countries to be visited are the sole responsibility of the traveller. As The Sugar Reef Travel Club cannot be held liable for these matters we suggest that you make enquiries with both your GP and the relevant passport and visa offices as far as possible prior to travel.
You must accept (under the Option 1 and Option 4 Guaranteed Dates) the destination and travel arrangements offered and this only applies to those persons specified on the original Holiday Request Form.
If you are unable to travel on the dates offered under the Option 1 and Option 4 Guaranteed Dates, then you authorise us to offer you the Option 2 and the Option 3 and the terms and conditions previously stated will apply.
